Costa Rica Accepting Travelers from All 50 US States!

As of September 1, Costa Rica began accepting travelers from a few US states with relatively low coronavirus numbers. As of November 1, 2020, Costa Rica will be accepting travelers from ALL 50 US States.    

Travelers must provide negative Covid test results within 48 of arriving in country in addition to filling out an online health questionnaire.  Upon landing in Costa Rica, travelers are required to wear a face covering and adhere to protocols regarding social distancing, disinfection, and sanitation.  Travelers are also required to have insurance covering $50,000 of medical expenses and a minimum of $2,000 for housing issues due to the pandemic. Americans are not the only internationals able to visit Costa Rica. Tourists from Australia, China, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the European Union are allowed to visit under the same travel restrictions.
