Don’t forget that Costa Rica’s diverse wildlife includes four different species of monkey and six different wildcats.

Costa Rica Volcanoes

Costa Rica has 121 volcanic formations, seven of which are active. Your vacation can include a stop to visit one or many of these. We recommend Poas Volcano, which is the second widest crater in the world. Or the Arenal Volcano, which is one of the ten most active in the world.
